Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to the LinkGPT web application and the LinkGPT Shopify app, operated by Gemcy Inc. It explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. Our Terms of Service govern your use of LinkGPT. LinkGPT is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use LinkGPT, we may collect:

• Account details such as your name, email address, profile image, and sign-in provider.
• Public profile information and content that you enter or choose to publish through LinkGPT.
• Information you authorize us to retrieve from Google/YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and other connected sources, including public profile details, account identifiers, statistics, and recent content.
• OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to keep authorized sources connected.
• Website content and metadata when you connect or submit a website.
• Shopify shop details and store content needed to provide the Shopify app.
• Subscription and transaction metadata from Stripe or Shopify. LinkGPT does not store complete payment-card numbers.
• Service, diagnostic, security, and usage information generated when you use LinkGPT.

3. How We Use Information

• Authenticate accounts and maintain authorized provider connections.
• Create, publish, and update creator or merchant profiles, llms.txt files, and structured data.
• Import selected content, measure AI visibility, and provide recommendations and analytics.
• Submit URLs through IndexNow and perform distribution features you enable.
• Process subscriptions, send transactional messages, provide support, prevent abuse, and secure the service.
• Comply with law and enforce our agreements.

4. Public Profiles and Sharing

When you publish a LinkGPT profile, the profile details, selected links, and selected or imported public content shown on that profile become publicly accessible. You can unpublish the profile at any time.

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the service, including hosting, payment, email, AI, and indexing providers. Content is sent to AI providers only to generate output you request and is not used to train their models. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use information from connected platforms for advertising.

5. Connected Accounts

Provider access is limited to the permissions displayed during that provider's authorization flow. You can disconnect a provider in LinkGPT settings. Disconnecting deletes that provider's stored authorization and imported connection data from LinkGPT, asks the provider to revoke the token where the provider supports it, and stops LinkGPT from requesting further data. You can also revoke access in the provider's own account settings.

LinkGPT uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a Google account you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke LinkGPT's access to your Google and YouTube data at any time on Google's security settings page. LinkGPT's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Retention and Deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. To delete data, you can disconnect an individual provider in Settings, which deletes that provider's stored authorization and imported data, or email hello@linkgpt.appto request deletion of your LinkGPT account. We verify account-deletion requests before removing account and provider-derived information. Shopify data is handled through Shopify's required uninstall and privacy workflows. Limited records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

7. Security

We use strong administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect user information.
